During a recent webinar, CEMML Ecologist and Project Manager, Dave Jones, along with co-contributors Shara Howie and Pat Comer, both from NatureServe, discussed the latest edition of the handbook, “Conserving Biodiversity on Military Lands – A Guide for Natural Resource Managers.”

The webinar took place Thursday, July 28, 2022 (1:00 PM-2:00 PM EST).

The presentation provided an overview of the 2021 edition of the “Conserving Biodiversity on Military Lands” handbook. The team walked through the approach and lessons learned from the development of the newest edition of this important resource for guiding biodiversity conservation. They also highlighted new material and analyses added to the handbook.

Once it becomes available, a recording of the webinar will be shared on the NR Program website on DENIX at: https://www.denix.osd.mil/nr/resources/webinars/index.html.
